On Monday at about 7:52 PM, Deputy Sheriffs responded to a report of shots fired on the 100 block of Bailey Road in Bay Point.
When Deputies arrived, they found two women, a 45 and a 60-year-old, suffering from gunshot wounds. They are not being identified.
One was taken to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek while the other went to John Muir Medical Center in Concord. Their wounds were considered non life-threatening.
Both women were sitting outside of an apartment when the shooting took place. It appeared to be a drive-by shooting.
This shooting is currently under investigation. No suspects or motive have been identified yet.
