Updated: Brentwood Police Locate Missing Juvenile After 2-Hour Search

Shortly after 5:00 pm Tuesday, the Brentwood Police Department responded to a report of a missing juvenile who left his home after a fight with his brother.

After searching city streets in the area of the report, local businesses, parks and schools, police officers were unable to locate the juvenile and immediately released a description and the child’s photograph from a day prior.   Police also called in an Oakley K9 as well as CHP helicopter for support.

At 7:11 pm, Brentwood police reported they had the child in custody.

Update (6:14 pm) CHP Helicopter requested. Coming from Napa, CA. Local helicopter is down.
Update (6:18 pm) resident calling in stated subject may have been seen at Sweetgass & Balfour.
Update (6:57 pm) – Brentwood PD on foot at Sweetgrass. Made contact with Girl Scout Cookie stand, mother has small Asian boy… not same subject.
Update (7:08 pm) – PD reporting some neighbors found juvenile in the area of Creekside Park.
Update (7:11 pm) – Brentwood PD announce they have found the child.
