Update: Oakley Police Arrest Man on Several Warrants and Additional Charges

Two individuals were detained following a large sideshow that occurred on Saturday night. “Sideshows are destructive and disrespectful to the moral fabric of the community,” Chief of Police Paul Beard stated.

The first responding officer observed modified vehicles doing doughnuts in the intersection and at least 60 persons out of their vehicles blocking the intersection in all directions to shut the road down and observe the vehicle operators’ criminal behaviors.  — Full Story. 

Update: Oakley Police Arrest Man on Several Warrants and Additional Charges

At approximately 11:40 pm Wednesday, the Oakley Police Department responded to the downtown area on a report of a male evading bounty hunters within the city of Oakley.

According to police, Larry Davis, a 43-year-old male from Sacramento, was being tracked down by bounty hunters after being wanted on multiple warrants for domestic violence, assault with a deadly weapon, torture and false imprisonment. – Full Story
