City of Oakley Wins Public Works Award

The City of Oakley was the recipient of the American Public Works Association (APWA) project of the year for Main Street Reconstruction Project (Bridgehead to Big Break) in Northern California.

The selection committee had reviewed and evaluated candidate projects from a number of municipalities in Northern California and finally selected the City of Oakley project as the winner.

This award was presented to Public Works staff at an award ceremony on February 25th.

Drinking game with the comments. If someone mentions the city manager, take a shot. A member of the city council running for office, take two shots. But….if someone mentions the fire district, you have to drink the bottle.
