At 7:27 pm, emergency crews respond to a two-car vehicle accident on Main Street in Oakley which shut down the road for an hour and a half as crews worked the incident. The incident appears to be non-injury.
The incident shut down Main Street in the eastern direction from 3rd Street to 5th Street as cars were forced to make a detour on side roads around the accident. Both cars were towed away.
According to a witness, the driver in the silver car was in the center lane ready to make a turn when another car hit her and spun the car around. It may have been related to the sunset blinding the drivers.
