How sad and tragic. Condolences to his family.
My heart felt condolences.
Such a tragedy!! Prayers for his soul and for the healing of those left behind to mourn his loss. God bless him?
This day and age is a depressing and hopeless journey as some look at it. Our youth and our adult community are all wrapped up in confusion and anger. When it seems to hard to work through, death seems a way to put a stop to the mental pain and hurt. Suicide takes a temporary problem and shifts it from the death of a friend or loved one and transfers the situation to all who love and care for the deceased. May friends and family find a way to deal with this tragedy. Our hearts go out to all involved. So sorry for your loss.
So sorry to read this. Deepest condolences to this young man’s family n friends.
WHEN YOU ARE 79, THIS JUST HURTS SO MUCH TO HEAR ABOUT…..THE FINALITY OF IT ALL AT SUCH A YOUNG AGE IS HORRENDOUS….REARING A CHILD FOR 17 YEARS THEN ABRUPTLY LOSING ONE IS HEARTBREAKING TO SAY THE LEAST….AT THIS POINT, SO MUCH TO LIVE FOR AND ENJOY ITS TAKEN AWAY!!! DEEPEST CONDOLESCENCE AND PRAYERS TO ALL…..
Dude… nice sentiment… but you’re shouting in all caps…
My heart hurts for this young persons family and friends, I’ve been in the receiving end of this hurt and only by the grace of God made it day by day. My prayers go to the family and friends. Please stay strong
Prayers for him and his family.
Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of this young man. May the family and friends feel the comforting peace of God, as they grieve the loss of their loved one!
Deeply saddened to hear another freedom high school student has taken his life.another young life cut short way too early:(condolences to family and close friends.
My deepest heart felt condolences go out to the family and friends, The Oakley P.D., The Oakley Fire Department and The Medics ?❤ RIP Sweet Child…
Its extremely concerning that so many youngsters are taking their own lives…very concerning. Suicide is the worst option , but it seems so many times that these kids thinks it’s the only one. Terrible
He was one of my former 5th grade students. I am heartbroken and in complete shock about this devastating news. I did not see this happening to this sweet boy. My heart aches for his family, especially his mom who is one of the sweetest nicest people that you could know. I can’t even imagine the pain she is enduring. Suicide doesn’t discriminate. Please know there is a better solution out there. It saddens me that he reached a point where he thought this was his only answer. I truly hope he is at peace. RIP sweet boy. You will be mssed?
So tragic. Our children don’t realize that in a few short years most of their current problems won’t even matter. My heart goes out to the family.
This is my sons friend, my son is now left so confused, he is saying no someone did this to him cuz my friend was happy, it’s so very sad.
My son is also one of his friends and known him since elementary school and he says the same thing. He said there is no way he was not that type of person and he is very confused and devastated ?
My so was also his friend and said the same thing…He can’t understand this … it’s so heartbreaking …sending love to everyone
Missing him dearly, I am a student my self. But people that really knew him knew how much he struggled with himself. May he rest at peace , we miss you down here.
So sad ! I was driving by after they took his body , me and the mom had eye to eye contact her eyes were all swollen I felt so very bad for her ! I can’t even imagine her pain ?
My prayers go out to his family and may he rest in peace.
I miss him so much, went all throughout my school years with him and just talked to him Friday and he was his happy usual self. I am confused and wish he knew that he had people who love him and would have been willing to help him out. He will forever hold a place in my heart, always.
Gone but never forgotten. He was a great student and always brightened everyone’s day in chemistry class. He will be missed here.
I didn’t know this boy but my heart aches for him. For what he must have been going through. For feeling that it was his only way out of whatever was hurting his soul. For his mom. His mother!! No parent should have to bury their child. Having a 20 year old son myself, I worry about this daily. Because he does struggle with depression. He appears happy. Has many friends that love him. A loving family, both immediate and extended. Yet those of us who know the real him, he’s haunted. Life has thrown him a curveball right to his gut and sucked the air right out of him. He IS no longer the son I used to know. He pretends well. But a mom knows. And I see right through him. He’s just a shell of the young man he used to be. And I miss my son. He does go to therapy when he chooses but refused the meds. I can’t do much with that as he IS an adult. But encourage him. Tell him I love him often. Hug him tight before he leaves. Hug him tighter when he arrives. And pray he never feels that desperate and alone. RIP young man. You were loved and will surely be missed.
