The Walnut Creek Police Department announced the arrest of a suspect in a Saturday night armed robbery after a male brandishing a handgun and stole the victims wallet. The incident occurred around 9:00 pm.
According to police, the suspect was identified as Nicholas Ostrovskiy. Police arrested him at his home in San Ramon. He was taken into custody without incident and the handgun used in the robbery was seized.
Ostrovskiy was transported to county jail.
