At 5:20 pm Sunday, the Martinez Police Department responded to a home in the 1900 block of Arnold Drive after a reported shooting which injured an adult male.
According to police, a firearm was recovered and the male was transported with a gunshot wound to a local hospital. His status was unknown.
Martinez Police did say no suspects were outstanding and a resident was in custody. By 7:32 pm, the scene was cleared at the home.
A formal press release was anticipated later Sunday night.
