On Saturday, the Walnut Creek Police Department announced that a suspect wanted in connection with a recent fatal shooting has turned himself in.
The shooting occurred on June 17 at 10:56 pm at N. California Blvd and Ygnacio Valley Road which killed Stacy Corley, 25 of Vallejo.
Police released a statement Saturday evening saying the outstanding suspect, Dylan Baker turned himself in to authorities and was booked into the Martinez Detention Facility for the murder of Stacy Corley.
This case will be presented to the Contra Costa District Attorney’s office for review of murder, CA Penal Code 187 against Dylan Baker. The District Attorney will also review charges of being an accessory, CA Penal Code 32 against Jaesin Collado and the juvenile who were both previously arrested.

The Walnut Creek Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating a subject wanted in connection to this case. An arrest warrant has been issued for Dylan Baker (18 year old male from Martinez) for murder. Baker may be armed and should be considered dangerous.
Jaesin Collado (22 year old male from Martinez) and a juvenile (17 year old male) have been arrested in connection to this case. The Walnut Creek Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred on June 17, 2021 on North California Boulevard near the intersection of Ygnacio Valley Road. Police received a 911 call at 10:56 p.m. reporting multiple gun shots heard in the area. When officers arrived they found the victim in his vehicle with a gunshot wound. Contra Costa County Fire Protection District responded and pronounced the victim deceased.
Investigators identified a vehicle that was involved in the shooting and tracked it to a residence in Martinez. A search warrant for the residence was obtained and the Central County SWAT Team responded to assist with the service of a warrant. An arrest has been made but the investigation is still active and only limited information can be released at this time.
The victim is a 25 year old male resident of Vallejo. The relationship between the involved parties is currently unknown.
