At 8:38 pm Saturday, Contra Costa County Fire Protection District firefighters were dispatched to eastbound Highway 4 near San Marco for a multiple vehicle crash in Bay Point.
According to preliminary information, as many as six vehicles were involved, including an overturned vehicle and blocking multiple lanes of traffic. At least 3 AMR units were dispatched to the incident.
By 8:44 pm, AMR was on scene reported at least 8 patients and three lanes of traffic were blocked according to CHP.

This is so lame as this is a daily occurrence on this stretch of Highway. There was also another accident a few hours prior as we headed westbound on 4! People on 4 need to relax, everybody riding your ass if you aren’t going 100! And definitely no CHP until after the accident has occurred.
What a surprise. An multi vehicle accident. On Highway 4! That is astounding. Too unbelievable. Maybe someone needs to flatten the road and straighten it out, so there aren’t any curves or hills and drivers can fly like the wind. This is just SHOCKING, I tell you. Just shocking
