Walnut Creek: Firefighters Limit 2-Alarm Vegetation Fire to 15-Acres

At 2:15 pm Tuesday, Contra Costa County Firefighters were dispatched to a report of a vegetation fire in the 1500 block of Marchbanks Drive in the City of Walnut Creek.

Upon arrival, firefighters requested a 2-alarm response for structure protection.

By 2:22 pm, the fire was listed at 10-acres with steep slope and moderate spread.
