I am a cold turkey kinda guy and planned to announce this on Monday, but what the heck, today is the day… after more than 10-years I am retiring EastCountyToday–the site will stay up on the web for archive purposes.
It’s been a fun and wild ride. Quite frankly, I’ve had a blast to be able to do something I love doing which is informing the community of what is transpiring—the good, the bad and the ugly!
But have no fear, contracosta.news is only a new domain, the coverage and this Facebook page will basically continue! The new site simply ensures greater flexibility to stay sustainable and inform more people of some issues going on in the county that are being underreported that will now have a platform.
