Two Victims Air Lifted in Vasco Road Crash

At 9:58 am, crews from the East Contra Costa Fire Protection and American Medical Response responded to a traffic accident on Vasco Road and Walnut after a vehicle ran a red light and clipped another vehicle. Two victims were transported by helicopter to local hospitals and one by ambulance.

Engines 52 and 59 were on scene along with AMR, CALSTAR and California Highway Patrol.

In following the incident on CHP.org this morning, the driver of the black car had been drinking and ran the red light. This is the 2nd morning weekend accident in Brentwood in the past couple weeks where the drivers were drinking or drunk, where are these drivers coming from?
