Rep. McNerney to Host Virtual Town Hall with the Internal Revenue Service

Stockton, CA – With the May 17th federal income tax filing deadline quickly approaching, Congressman Jerry McNerney (CA-09) has announced that he will host a virtual town hall with representatives from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) on Tuesday, May 4th from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM to address questions regarding tax filings, Economic Impact Payments, the Recovery Rebate Credit, and tax related scams.

The Congressman will be joined by special guests Anabel Márquez, IRS Congressional Liaison, and Michael Daniels, Acting Special Agent in Charge, who will discuss these IRS programs, answer constituent questions, and share information about how to recognize the warning signs of and protect yourself against fraud and scams.
