At 10:52 am Thursday, the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District firefighters responded to the 7000 block of Orwood Road in unincorporated Brentwood for a vegetation fire.
The fire was reported to be 3-acres in size and due to the wind, a task force was requested with units as far as San Ramon responding. It was also threatening Cruiser Haven.
As of 1:00 pm, a bulk of the fire was knocked down.
No other information was available.
