On Sunday, Hook Line & Sinker hosted its 5th event in its Tournament of Champion Series where the team of B. Lunghi and Hubbartt took the win scoring 23.88 pounds. In total, 50 boats participated battling cold, wind, and some rain out of Russo’s Marina on Bethel Island.
Second place went to the team of K. Conrad and W. Cook at 20.88 pounds, followed by D. Butler and H. Johnson at 18.85.
The big fish of the event was 7.27 pounds by the team of C. Trumbull and D. Yamasaki.
Hook Line & Sinker will host its 6th and final event on Saturday, February 13 before its 2-day Tournament of Champions finals in March.
