Contra Costa Health Reports 12,046 Coronavirus Cases, 161 Deaths

On Thursday, the Contra Costa Health Services reports there are now 12,046 cases of coronavirus resulting in 161 Deaths. In the past 24-hours, this is 119 new cases.

The county reported that 10,474 people have recovered. The county says they have provided 181,233 tests and 96 people are currently in the hospital. According to the county, the current testing positivity rate is at (not available)

Recently, Contra Costa Health amended its social distancing health order to temporarily tighten face-covering requirements and prohibit indoor gatherings where there is elevated risk of spreading the virus.

According to the county, 6,292 women tested positive while 5,706 men were positive with 34 cases of unknown gender were reported.
