The Brentwood Police Department announced the arrest of Gonzalo Regalado-Mandujano Jr. who was wanted in connection for crimes against a child.
Brentwood Police had been working the case since September 2019, however, the allegations occurred several years earlier and the investigation continued as the case was developed until they were able to obtain an arrest warrant.
According to police, Regalado-Mandujano Jr, 30, was arrested in Kansas during the week of August 10 and said all alleged crimes occurred within the City of Brentwood.
Brentwood Police were assisted in Kansas by the Hutchinson Police Department, the Garden City Police Department and the Finney County Sheriff’s Office
Regalado-Mandujano Jr. was brought back to California and booked into county jail on the following charges: lewd acts with a child under 14 years old and penetration with a foreign object-victim incapable of consent.
According to Lt. Walter O’Grodnick there is only one victim related to the crime and the victim was a minor when the crimes occurred. He added that Regalado-Mandujano Jr. was from Brentwood at the time of the crimes but left California nearly 8-years ago and believed to have traveled to different places but was eventually located in Kansas residing with family.
