Update: Antioch Police Investigating Two Separate Monday Night Shooting

On Monday, the Antioch Police Department received a report of a male who showed up at an area hospital with a gunshot wound in the City of Antioch. He was believed to be in critical condition.

According to preliminary information, the shooting occurred in the area of the 2300 block of Beasley and Madill St where officers located several casings in the area. The shooting was believed to have occurred just after 8:00 pm.

As of 5:00 am Tuesday, Antioch Police have not released any information on the incident.

Antioch Police confirmed that on Monday night, they responded to two separate shootings that were unrelated and just minutes apart.

9:10 AM UPDATE

At 8:05 pm, residents heard 7-10 gunshots in the area of E. Madill Street. As officers were responding, a male showed up in a local hospital with a gunshot wound to the right side of his body. He was listed in stable condition and is expected to survive. He was ultimately transported to another hospital for further care.

At 8:15 pm – Antioch police responded to W 10th Street where a subject fired shots into the air during a neighbor dispute. No one was injured in the shooting.

In both shootings, no arrests were made and suspects are unknown. Antioch Police were not able to release any additional details as both are under investigation.
