The Antioch Police Department announced the arrest of suspect in a robbery that occurred on February 4.
According to police, the suspect was identified as Michael Scott, 39 of Antioch, was arrested the next day. Two replica firearms were located on Scott
Police said officers were dispatched to a report of a robbery where the victim was robbed at gunpoint in the 2700 block of Contra Loma Blvd. Upon investigation, Officer Chandler was able to discover the identity of the suspect and wrote a warrant for his arrest.
The next day, Officers Amiri and Milner were conducting an extra patrol in an area known for suspicious activity and located the suspect responsible for the robbery the day prior. In addition to our warrant, it was also discovered the suspect had an additional warrant out of Tuolumne County.

Female Shot Sunday Morning
In a separate incident, the Antioch Police Department responded to a report of a female who had been shot at approximently 11:00 am Sunday morning in the 800 block of J Street. Police said there was evidence of an illegal dice game going on. However, no other information was released.

The story should be why ECT is causing a loss to all us home owners (lower home values) and businesses (lack of new business) by propagating a bad image of Antioch with the “out of Compton” reference/image when 3/4 of the city is peacefull most of the time. We are spending money to improve our city’s image only to have it shot down by our very own. Why should we support your site? Did the shooter wear that hoodie? I don’t think so.
