Antioch Police Say Single Shot Fired in Overnight 7-Eleven Robbery on Hillcrest

At approximently 12:30 am Friday, Antioch Police two males wearing masks entered a 7-Eleven in an attempt to rob the store where a single shot was fired.

According to preliminary information, the incident occurred in the 2700 block of Hillcrest Avenue in the City of Antioch.

The suspects were described as Hispanic males wearing hoodies and masks. One of the males pulled out a firearm and robbed the store. That is when the shot was fired. No one was hit in the shooting. After the single shot, a bottle of alcohol was taken and the subjects fled the scene in an unknown direction.

Aside from the bottle of alcohol, its unclear what else was stolen or any damages in the incident.

The incident is under investigation.

An armed robbery occurred on Friday morning around 6 a.m. at the 7-Eleven on Monument Blvd. at Oakmead (across from the Concord Skatepark), according to the Concord Police Department.

One of the two suspects fired a shot towards the employee, but fortunately it missed and hit the floor.

The suspects were described as two white males. One had a black jacket, and one was wearing a monkey mask.

The suspects fled with a 24 pack of beer.

No injuries were reported, and the suspects were not captured.

He used a Colt 45 handgun to steal a bottle of Colt 45 malt liquor. That makes sense to me. Billy Dee Williams would approve.
