At roughly 12:53 am Wednesday morning, East Contra Costa Fire Protection District firefighters responded to a vehicle into the water on Delta Road/Holland Track Bridge in Knightsen.
Firefighters arrived to find one vehicle on its roof in the water. A search was conducted and the scene was safely secured. Crews conducted a surface search from the water to find a potential victim while a helicopter searched from the air.
According to the ECCFPD, a tow truck and driver later arrived on scene to pull the vehicle from the water. Upon pulling the vehicle from the water, there was no victims.
Per the California Highway Patrol, a victim showed up at Kaiser via a private transport.
The incident required a response by Battalion Chief 5, E94, E59/FB295, AMR, Coast Guard, CHP and the Contra Costa County Sheriffs Office. Crews were on scene for 2-hours and 27-minutes.
