ORINDA – Senator Steve Glazer, D-Contra Costa, and Assemblywoman Rebecca Bauer-Kahan, D-Orinda, will hold their first joint town hall on Thursday, Feb. 28 (6:30-7:30 p.m.) in Moraga, and will lay out their legislative agendas for the 2019-20 session.

Senator Glazer will discuss his legislative priorities, which include education, affordable housing, the environment and health, and public safety. Assemblywoman Bauer-Kahan said her priorities include: the environment, education, public safety and other key district concerns.

“Assemblywoman Bauer-Kahan and I are excited to kick off a new series of joint town halls,” said Glazer, who was first elected to the Senate in 2015. “Engaging with our constituents is one of the more important and fulfilling parts of our jobs, so we are looking forward to this event.”

Glazer and Bauer-Kahan will also take questions from constituents.

Bauer-Kahan, in her first term, said that listening to residents is key to effective representation.
