Stockton Malls Enacts Parental Escort Policy

by ECT

The Weberstown Mall in the City of Stockton on Friday stated they have enacted a new Parental Escort Policy from open to close. This comes after a large brawl occurred Thursday.

According to the policy, it states that anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian 21 years of age or older.

Stockton Police said on December 26 that both the Weberstown and Sherwood Malls were closed after they responded around 5:30 pm to a large disturbance involving approximately 150 – 200 juveniles. Officers assisted Mall Security with getting the juveniles into the parking lot where several fights took place. The juveniles then went to Sherwood Mall where staff locked down the mall immediately. Weberstown Mall has also was locked down.

Police said Thursday that no arrests and one person was transported to an area hospital to be treated for unknown injuries.

A $1,000 reward is being offered by Stockton Crime Stoppers for information leading to the arrest of those involved in the fight.

The thing to do is have a huge net hanging over the interior of the mall and with a remote drop it down over these troublemakers and catch them. Then arrest them one-by-one. Or, better yet, keep them entirely out of malls.

I would love to see them try that crap in a shopping mall in Singapore! The armed security people would make mincemeat out of these punks.

They should not allowed to enter ANY mall. Not even with someone over 21.

Keep that vermin out of the shopping malls! They start harassing people and the doors should be remotely shut trapping them inside and let the police and security people deal with them.

I would add, if they have to be in a mall, they should be there with a parent and be HANDCUFFED to that parent’s wrist! But, it would be much better if they were not permitted into a shopping mall at any time. Shopping malls are not public places.
