The Stockton Police Department reported Sunday that an infant that was allegedly beaten by his father has passed away at the hospital.
Police say that on November 11, they received a call that a 2-year-old baby boy was at UC Davis Medical Center with serious injuries. Medical staff said the baby was placed in pediatric intensive care and was not expected to survive due to injuries consistent with child abuse.
The boys father, Matthew Garcia, 24, was arrested and the abuse had occurred in the family residence in the 2600 block of E Marsh Street.
Garcia was booked in San Joaquin County Jail for felony child abuse at the time of his arrest.
Police said Sunday that Garcia remains in custody.

POS. a real gang banger badass. Should have had those tattoo needles stuck up his ass
If he is truly guilty, I’ll be praying that he is
Epsteined.??
Jaimoe, he will probably get Harrised and let out. No room for scum like this. Who beats their child to death? This is why there is a death penalty. Unfortunately, California prosecutors and politicians disobey public law. Send him to Texas where they abide by public voted law and
remove scum like this from never doing it again.
Woooosh
100% agree.
Now, THIS is a pig who should get a huge dose of his own medicine and be beaten to a bloody pulp. I don’t want to hear sad tales of his messed up childhood. A pig is a pig
Neither a pig or any animal would do such a thing. This guy is pure putrid garbage.
there’s got to be a special place in hell for anyone who would beat and kill a child. Harm them in any way for that matter. Rest in paradise poor baby?
