At 6:38 am Friday, the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District responded to a report of an overturned vehicle crash in the southbound direction of Kirker Pass Road near Hess in the City of Concord.
When units arrived on scene, they located the crash with one occupant outside the vehicle being treated by AMR and reported both southbound lanes were blocked.
6:57 am Update:
At least one lane of traffic is now open.

Kirker Pass is a death trap! Bad things always seem to happen in the Hess Road area.
I avoid Kirker Pass like the plague. It was obviously designed by a civil engineering dropout. That whole area has to be redesigned and rebuilt.
