At 12:11 pm Friday, East Contra Costa Fire Protection District responded to the Byron Airport after a reported sky diving accident. Engine 94 arrived on scene where they found a adult male on the ground with a possible broken leg and arm.

The patient was put in full c-spine precaution and patient care transferred to AMR and then flown to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek due to possible internal injuries.

The cause of the accident was labeled as human error. No further details were provided.

Just last week, ECCFPD responded to a sky diving accident at the same location after an experienced and competitive sky diver suffered an injury after miscalculating a landing and tumbled to the ground.

Don’t most airports have their own fire and medical emergency response. I wonder if the county is paying a supplemental fee to our fire district for special services to the Byron Airport. If the county doesn’t , it should as the airport is a separate entity of it’s own and charges fees to all that use and operate there. Some of those fees need to be passed on to our fire district.

@ ECV bother,

Again your ignorance overshadows your comment. Consider your right to remain silent. In your case, it’s a favor- I suggest you use it.

@Bro your posts over the last few months seem to be narrowing to a common theme.

Someone is expected to cut you slack by cutting a check. That’s pretty much the root of it.

Have you ever been to a small airport in your life or did the silver spoon upbringing shelter you from mingling with the Peasants?

Now tell us a little Socialist fairy tale.

By a Clue, you are on to him. Expect to hear a whiney retort about socialism and how his fictitious grandkids are going to have to pay all the bills. IF it wasn’t for Regan cutting all of the mental health (socialist) programs, my little “bother” would be in lock up. Unfortunately he is out in the general population and allowed to spew his garbage. It looks to me like he is desperate to find someone, anyone that might agree with his twisted perspectives. So far he has come up empty. Its all about someone else paying HIS way. He is not only stupid, but he is selfish.

He is just a poor little confused man with an IQ shorter than he is.

ECV Brother
What a ridiculous suggestion. All one has to do is look at CONCORD to see they do not have their own fire department or emergency services. What a ridiculous statement? Do you honestly want to compare an airport like Byron to SFO or Oakland? Give me a break. All you have to do is look back to the airport crash in SF to know fire services came from multiple districts in surrounding areas. But yes, lets have Byron of all places have their own fire dept. and emergency services. I will be ignoring your comments going forward. Anyone else reading your nonsense should considering have a bottle of jack before embracing your written words.

For the record… both Byron and Concord do have Fire Departments (not really a Dept) but do have emergency services because they are both county airports.

@John, my dumb big bro, clueless, and aka bimbo when he chimes in,
Thank ECT for the clarification to help straighten these Muppets out. I just thought maybe some of that collected airport revenue could help our fire district. I never said the airport needed their own separate one. Nothing like getting attacked for making a suggestion. These thugs follow me around like groupies stalking. Everyone’s an authority. Some people need to pull the stick out of their arse.
