Here is a look at events occurring this weekend in East Contra Costa County for the weekend of Nov. 25-26.

Along with local events, remember that today is Small Business Saturday. Be sure to support many of your favorite local businesses in town.


11:00 am: Hannah Nicole Vineyards Sip & Shop
Join Hannah Nicole Vineyards and Winery on Saturday, November 25 for their Sip & Shop event beginning at 11:00 am.

Enjoy a day out shopping with your friends while wine available for purchase by the bottle or glass or if you are not sure which wine to choose, enjoy a tasting of all their wines.  Shop our local vendors, live music from David Victor, food from United Bites food truck. VFW Post 10789 will be collecting new & unwrapped Toys 4 Tots.

11:00 am: Brentwood on Ice
Visit downtown Brentwood and check out Brentwood on ice, the first Downtown Brentwood ice Rink (739 Second Street). The facility includes an ice rink, snack bar, party rooms and is located across from City Hall. They also are available to book a party.

  • Friday-Saturday 11:00 am to 10:30 pm
  • Sunday to Thursday 11am to 8:30pm
  • Thanksgiving day 11am to 8:30pm
  • Christmas Eve 11am to 8:30pm
  • Christmas day 3pm to 9pm
  • New Years Eve 11am to TBD
  • The last day on the ice January 7,2018

12:00 pm: Big Chill Brentwood
Join the Streets of Brentwood (2455 Sand Creek) for polar ice skating.  The Polar Ice Skating ticket includes skate rentals and admission for a two hour session.  For individuals who bring their own skates, the cost for admission is $10.00.

The Polar Slide Ticket can be shared with your friends and family members, and includes 4 rides per ticket.  You do not have to take all four rides in one session.  You have the option to come back again to use the remaining rides.    All ice skaters and slide riders must sign a Release of Liability Waiver, which you can download at the link below.Children under 42 inches tall MUST wear a helmet when riding the Polar Slide.  Helmets are provided at the skate rental area.

Session 1:  12:00 p.m.  to 2:00 p.m.
Session 2:  2:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.
Session 3:  4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Session 4:  6:45 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.
Session 5:  9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

12:00 pm: Campos Family Vineyards Sip & Shop
Join Campos Family Vineyards as they have over 30 vendors to go with food trucks, and live music between 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Located at 3501 Byer Road in Byron.


 

7:00 pm: Streets of Brentwood Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony
Enjoy a Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on November 25, 2017 at 7pm.


November 26:
