Liberty High School’s Colby Huntze and Logan Gragg earned 1st place honors Sunday at the California Student Angler Federation with a total weight of 17.54 with a big fish of 4.74.
They were followed by Jimmy Simaeo and Tyler Sperbeck of Yuba Sutter Fishing Club with a total weight of 16.07 lbs and the Delta Teen Team of Miles Kaneko and Jared de Fremery with 14.33 lbs. Meanwhile, Justin and Tyler Hurney took 4th with a total weight of 13.56 lbs.
The tournament was held at Big Break Marina in the City of Oakley.

On the season, with the 4th Place finish, Justin and Tyler Hurney of Freedom High School scored enough points to maintain their lead on Anglers of the Year.
Over the course of the season, they fished two tournaments on the Delta, along with Clearlake, Folsom and Beryessa. Of the five tournaments, their top four scores will count.
