Updated: 76-Year-Old Woman Fatally Shot, Antioch Police Seek Public Assistance

On 2/08/2022 at approximately 7:02 PM, Antioch Police Department dispatch received a call from a motorist, a 29-year-old male, who requested medical attention on Canada Valley Rd near Pinnacle View Way, due to his 76-year-old female passenger having difficulties breathing. Upon providing patient care, they discovered at least one gunshot on her back. She succumbed to her injuries at a local hospital

Detectives from the APD Investigations Bureau responded to the scene and learned the shots possibly came from another vehicle in the area of Canada Valley and Laurel Road. Investigators are diligently working this case and kindly ask the public to please check their surveillance and dash cameras in the area of Canada Valley and Laurel Road around 7:00 pm (+/- 10 minutes). Man Shot Wednesday Morning on Somersville Road in Antioch

Just before 7:30 am Wednesday, the Antioch Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the area of Somersville Road at Delta Fair Blvd in the City of Antioch. — full story, click here

Antioch Police Arrest Armed Robbery Suspect

The Antioch Police Department announced the arrest of suspect in a robbery that occurred on February 4. According to police, the suspect was identified as Michael Scott, 39 of Antioch, was arrested the next day. — full story, click here.
