High Wind Watch Issued Through Tuesday Morning

The National Weather Service said Saturday that they have issued a high wind watch for elevations above 1000 ft across the North Bay Mountains, East Bay Hills & Diablo Range, and the Santa Cruz Mountains from late Sunday Night through Tuesday morning.

The advisory will impact the East Bay Hills and Diablo range with winds from 20-35 MPH with gusts up to 60-mph to 70-mph.

The warning includes how strong winds may blow down limbs, trees and power lines and scattered power outages are expected. Those driving high profile vehicles or those pulling trailers are advised to use caution.

I’m thinking any NYE fireworks are going to be canceled. Bummer I’m taking my kids to Sacramento and am hoping the wind stops long enough to light em off
