Event organizers are still looking for golfers for this July 15 event which benefits the family of the late, retired Fire Captain Ben Whitener. The event will hold up to 144-golfers and will be an all-day event featuring golf, dinner, awards, contests, raffles, and a silent auction. Please join us for the Inaugural Whitener Memorial Golf Tournament on July 15, 2013 benefiting the family of the late, retired Fire Captain Ben Whitener.
We will have a great day of golf and fun at the beautiful Discovery Bay Country Club in Discovery Bay, CA ( www.dbgcc.com). The event will include a continental breakfast, 4-person scramble, shared cart, Tee-Prize, lunch, BBQ buffet dinner and awards receptions following golf. On course events include a $25,000 Hole in One contest (50/50 split with charity), a $5000 putting contest (50/50 split with charity), a Closest to the Hole competition, a Long Drive competition, a Vegas Hole competition, and a Raffle Ticket hole. Also, beverages are available on the course.
