Frazier Agrees with Speaker That HSRA Should Meet Business Plan Deadline

by ECT

SACRAMENTO – Assemblymember Jim Frazier, D-Discovery Bay, chairman of the Assembly Transportation Committee, issued the following statement today in support of a letter Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon sent to the High-Speed Rail Authority (HSRA). The Speaker’s letter questions why the Authority will fail to meet a mandated deadline to submit a biennial business plan.

“Speaker Rendon’s letter asks legitimate questions. I’m eager to hear the Authority’s response regarding its interpretation of current law and its perceived authority to decide whether or not it will meet a state-mandated deadline. The deadline for the HSR business plan was established in order for the Legislature to have ample time to review the plan. Delaying this information and releasing the business plan during the Legislature’s busiest time of the year does not help the HSRA’s strategic goals. Nor does it allow the Legislature necessary time to thoroughly review and comment on the Authority’s proposed business plan.  Californians are counting on the Legislature to provide oversight of the HSRA. The Speaker’s letter is the first step toward that goal.”

Why don’t you do something for your district instead of trying to ride all these coat tails Jimmy? I know, politics before people ? thanks for nothing.

Jim Frazier is such a tool! His gas tax is headed for a MAJOR recall! I bet he feels the walls closing in as voters in his district are realizing its JIM first and JIM before people. The buzz in east county is this rube won’t survive the next election cycle-provided someone decent steps up to run. According to Jimmy “It’s all about Jim”.

THANKS FOR NOTHING JIMMY.

Where are the people gathering signatures to recall this major theft of the California taxpayer! I and my friends would sign it immediately!
