FPPC Rejects Senate Candidate Glazer’s Complaint Against Campaign Mailer

by ECT

The California Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC) last week rejected State Senate District 7 candidate Steve Glazer’s complaint against Working Families Against Glazer for Senate.

Glazer had alleged the the committee had violated campaign reporting laws. But the FPPC said it found no evidence of that and said it “will not pursue the matter further.”

“Once again, Steve Glazer’s attacks on working families have backfired in another attempt to distract voters from the more than $745,000 he has received from a Bush and Schwarzenegger donor from Los Angeles and more than $450,000 he has received from a political action committee funded by tobacco companies and other corporate interests,” said Steven Maviglio, spokesperson for Working Families Against Glazer for Senate. “It’s unfortunate that he has wasted taxpayers resources for this publicity stunt.”

EVERYONE knows the FPPC is a hollow entity. They are no different than the grand jury. Just a bunch of Yahoos with a tough sounding title while in reality they are WORTHLESS.

As I perused the response letter, its clear to me that Bonilla’s camp did violate the spirit of the rules. Evidently the FPPC doesn’t care. Too bad really as this makes the point that the FPPC is irrelevant when it comes to these matters.

If Mr. Maviglio were really worried about “”wasting tax payers dollars”” he would stop working for Bonillia. She is the UNIONS candidate and has produced nothing of value EXCEPT waste tax payers dollars as she shills for the unions. Oh wait, Bonilla has also been caught red handed breaking the LAW and Ghost Voting in the Assembly. And then there was her stupid legislation allowing confused kids to use bathrooms not meant for their gender in our high schools. Thanks Mr. Maviglio for actually performing a political stunt (one which backfired by the way) in providing yet another opportunity why everyone should……..
