Here is a look at this weekends events in East Contra Costa County which kicks off with Small Business Saturday in downtown Brentwood. There will also be a Christmas Tree Lighting at the Streets of Brentwood and a Brentwood PAL Fundraiser this evening.
When you shop local you are supporting Downtown merchants in their commitment to help increase the number of jobs, improve the quality of life and overall strengthen our community. Money spent here re-circulates as locally owned businesses buy from other local businesses. Tax dollars go further, customer service is better, and it helps keep Vacaville unique.

Messiah, George Frederich Handel’s most successful and best known oratorio, was composed in the year 1741 in just 24 days. It was first performed at a concert in Dublin, Ireland, in 1742, with Handel himself conducting. An oratorio is a dramatic sacred choral work, usually for soloists, chorus and orchestra, that is performed in “concert hall” style rather than “staged.” (Approximately 2 hours)
