Not that this comes as any surprise, but it was just announced that State Sen. Mark DeSaulnier, D-Concord, has endorsed Rep. Jerry McNerney, D-Stockton, for re-election to Congress. McNerney is running against Republican Ricky Gill of Lodi in the 9th Congressional District.

Anyone backing Ricky Gill needs a reality check. The guy is 25 years old and has never held a full-time job in his life.
