I was able to attend the grand opening of the East Contra Costa County Campaign office in Antioch. The event took place on Saturday, August 18, from 2-5 p.m. at 1113 West 10th Street (at L Street) in Antioch. The event offered some nice camaraderie for local democratic leaders.
Oakley was well represented at the event as Assembly District 11 candidate and Oakley Councilman Jim Frazier was in attendance and he also gave a fabulous speech. Oakley City Council candidate Diane Burgis also was in attendance along with many others.
Antioch City Council candidates in attendance include Mary Rocha and Monica Wilson.

Wow, Burk has gone Democrat. Sellout!
Thank you for the compliment. I prefer to consider it “an open mind” and allowing for my political beliefs to be expanded.
Thank you Burk for leaving behind the party that is waging a War on Women.
