Paramedics from the San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District transported Sween from the scene to San Ramon Regional Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
In the house, officers discovered the body of a female, dead from an apparent gunshot wound. The woman has been identified as Chalan Sween, 55. A firearm was recovered from the scene.
No further information is available. The case is under investigation by Danville Police detectives.
