At about 6:21 AM today, Office of the Sheriff dispatch received a report of a person who was shot in the area of Marys Avenue in Bay Point. Deputies arrived on scene and found a man suffering from gunshot wounds.
The fire department and an ambulance responded. The 25-year-old victim was later pronounced deceased. He is not being identified at this time.
Deputies and Detectives are on scene following up on the homicide. The suspect remains outstanding.
