Contra Costa County Public Works to Perform Crash Cushion Replacement Work on Kirker Pass Road

Pittsburg, CA – The Contra Costa County Public Works Department will perform crash cushion replacement work on Kirker Pass Road, approximately one mile southwest of Nortonville Road. The work is scheduled for Wednesday, March 23, 2022, through Thursday, March 24, 2022, barring unforeseen circumstances. Work will occur from 8:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m., weather permitting.

Traffic will be controlled via temporary single-lane closures on both the north- and southbound lanes. The southbound left turn lane onto 6141 Kirker Pass Road will be closed during working hours. Message boards will be posted to advise drivers before scheduled work begins. Drivers may experience some delays.
