Contra Costa County Public Works to begin Construction on 2021 Countywide Curb Ramp Project

North Richmond, Alamo, Castle Hill, Clyde, and North Concord, CA – Contra Costa County Public Works will begin construction of the 2021 Countywide Curb Ramp Project on  Monday, June 7, 2021 through August, 2021, barring unforeseen circumstances.

Work will occur from 7:00 am-5:00 pm, Monday-Friday, weather permitting.  Construction will begin at Site 3 in North Richmond, then move to the Alamo, Castle Hill, Clyde and North Concord areas. Drivers should expect delays during construction.

The work consists of removing existing curb and sidewalk and construction of new curb, gutter, and sidewalk to construct over 200 Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant curb ramps at various locations within the North Richmond, Alamo, Castle Hill, Clyde and unincorporated North Concord areas.
