Contra Costa Animal Services Super Bowl Prediction Adoption Challenge

by ECT

Martinez, CA – With the Super Bowl only five days away, Contra Costa Animal Services (CCAS) is providing an opportunity for adopters to help predict the winner of Sunday’s game and win the biggest prize of all – a new companion animal!

“We’ve assembled two Pro Bowl rosters of available dogs and cats, one team of 49ers pets and one team of Chiefs pets,” said CCAS Public Information Officer, Steve Burdo. “For every pet that is adopted from one of the teams between now and 5:00pm Saturday, one point will be awarded to their team. The team with the most points at the end of Saturday will be the predicted winner of the Super Bowl. But we all know who the real winners will be – the adopters and their new furever friends.”

The results of the challenge will be posted to CCAS’s social media platforms Sunday morning prior to the Super Bowl. Interested adopters can participate in the challenge by visiting CCAS’s Martinez and Pinole adoption centers to meet animals and adopt their new family member.

Standard adoption fees include the cost of adoption, spay/neuter surgery, microchip, vaccinations and license. Refundable deposits may be required for spay/neuter surgery.
