Congressman DeSaulnier’s Statement on Russian Interference in U.S. Elections

by ECT

Washington, DC – Congressman Mark DeSaulnier (CA-11) issued the following statement in light of the U.S. intelligence community’s conclusion that Russia interfered in U.S. elections for the purposes of affecting the outcome.

“Our election system is an integral part of what makes us the beacon of Western democracy. Any and all attempts to undermine this system is an attack on our country’s values and cannot be taken lightly. I am encouraged that the investigation has received bipartisan and bicameral support and call on the President-elect to endorse the CIA’s efforts as a sign of American unity against Russian intrusion.”

“Adding to the alarm caused by these allegations is President-elect Trump’s nomination of Exxon Mobil Corp. chief Rex Tillerson for Secretary of State, who is known for having ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin. The Senate confirmation process must fully examine these connections.”

Shut up you corrupt hacks, they are so scared to get their overpaid pensions and income taken away. There is ZERO PROOF the Russians did anything to influence the elections ZERO. They have nothing but crying wolf. All false FAKE NEWS, Wikileaks said it was inside job from DNC themselves. These people are some of most sore losers ever. You lost, get over it morons and move on. The Democratic party especially in California are some of most corrupt in the entire country, and this idiot isn’t too far from it! TRUMP 2016

We are the laughing stock of the world. Why, just why are we giving Russia the time of day. This government of ours needs to shut up!! Take care of business, not advertise what we think and do. Trump is the worst one, he says don’t tell the enemy what and when, yet he’s the first to open his mouth. God help us

I can’t believe Congressman DeSaulnier had the oddasidy to even make a statement. I guess he’s never heard of the “Clinton Foundation,” who’s donors have been making decisions for this country since 1997. Yet another deflection by a Democrat on how to make an excuse for Hillarys loss, and this countries huge WIN.

Nice to see that the supporters of Orange Hitler are such an educated lot. You might want to use a spell check, or, better yet, a dictionary.

Yeah, wow, really. The word is “audacity” and you RWNJs have it down pat. Keep the lies up and eventually you’ll get enough scared old white people to believe. It worked for Orange Hitler.

The Russians didn’t force Hillary to hide her politics from the American People with a private server. The Russians did not force the DNC to undermine the Sanders campaign. Who cares if it was Russians. Care that someone (maybe Russians) was able to get the information that was so important as to tip the votes toward Turmp (maybe).

I’m more worried about the entire human race becoming extinct under the leadership of The Donald. If it’s not a nuclear cloud, the air and water aren’t going to support human life. What we’re going to be stuck with is somebody who is going to wrest the “Worst President Ever” title straight from George W. Bush’s tiny little hands in his first 100 days. You reap what you sew.
