Concord, CA – On Thursday, November 11, 2021, shortly after 10:00 PM, Concord Police Officers responded to the 5400 block of Ygnacio Valley Road on a report of a stolen vehicle. The victim’s four-month-old child was in the vehicle at the time it was stolen.
Within 30 minutes, Officers located the vehicle abandoned on Garaventa Drive.
The child was in the vehicle and unharmed. Neighboring agencies assisted in providing a K9 support as well as air support to search for the suspect. Although there was an extensive search, a suspect was not located. Medical professionals evaluated the uninjured child as a precaution.
At this time, there is no description of the suspect.
