The Concord Police Department released preliminary information after a report of a male being down in the roadway in the 1100 block of Concord Avenue in the city of Concord.
According to police, they received the call just after midnight on Monday. Officers found a 26 year old male who appears to have been killed from several gunshot wounds. Witnesses described a dark colored SUV that may have been involved. Detectives are actively working the case and there is no further information for release at this time.
