On Saturday morning at approximately 4:59 am, Concord PD Officers were dispatched to a report of a vehicle vs. pedestrian collision that occurred on Kirker Pass Road, between Clearbrook Drive and Myrtle Drive in the City of Concord.
A pedestrian crossed Kirker Pass Road and was struck by a vehicle, traveling southbound on Kirker Pass Road. The pedestrian, a 25 year old male, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver, a 30-year-old male, remained on scene and cooperated with police. Two lanes of Kirker Pass Road were closed for approximately 3 hours.
