Concord: Duplex Catches Fire After Propane Tank Explosion

At 3:45 pm Tuesday, Contra Costa County Fire Protection District firefighters were dispatched to a report of a residential structure fire in the 1100 block of Eureka Lane off Monument Blvd in the City of Concord.

While responding, units reported smoke showing and upon arrival, observed flames.

By 3:56 pm, it was reported that firefighters were in offensive fire attack with a duplex well involved on one-side. By 4:00 pm, no other exposures were threatened according to firefighters.

By 4:06 pm, the fire was knocked down.
