City of Brentwood to Welcome New Gazebo

On May 4, the community is invited to celebrate with the City of Brentwood as they hold their grand opening of the Community Gazebo at City Park. The event will begin at 10:30 am.

The event will kick off with a flag presentation, national anthem followed by a poet laureate  Kati Short along with opening remarks and a dedication. After the ceremony, the Brentwood Band and refreshments will follow.

The project was first approved in June of 2016 when Mayor Bob Taylor requested support from the City Council and the project was then pushed forward by volunteer efforts. Construction began in February of 2018.
