CHP: 109-MPH DUI Arrest Made on Highway 4

The California Highway Patrol announced Friday that a driver was arrested for traveling 109-mph down Highway in a construction zone while being under suspicion for a DUI.

According to CHP, the incident occurred late Thursday night where the driver was on a suspended drivers license and along with the arrest, the vehicle will be impounded for 30-days. They urged folks to use ride sharing services.

No further information was released.

Wonder if it was one of the stationary officers in the construction zone that caught him, or was it a patrol officer? I always wondered if those stationary officers would pull someone over if they are bad enough…
