Byron: Vehicle Leaves Roadway, Starts Vegetation Fire and Damages PG&E Pole

At 6:10 am Friday, the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District and CHP responded to a report of a vehicle off the roadway on Byron Highway at Holway Drive in Byron.

It was reported that the vehicle that left the roadway caused a vegetation fire, however, upon arrival, Engine 59 reported the fire was out and requested a PG&E response due to a damage power pole.

No further information was available.
